Meet the Potter
Claudia is the potter and teacher behind Ink & Mud. I&M was launched in 2018, selling handmade pots and watercolor art. It has evolved over the years to an online retail shop and ceramic-focused learning studio.
Claudia has a background in recreational therapy and education, and has been teaching private ceramic classes for four years. She adores movement, nature, and quality time with loved ones, and it is visible in the minimal style pottery she creates. She believes that daily rituals of brewing coffee, conversation, and sharing meals are where some of life’s most precious memories stem from, which is where much of her ceramic work is focused. She aims to create beautiful, practical works that enhance daily interactions with the space we live in, and the people in it. She also aspires to create experiences for her students that inspire a deeper sense of curiosity in creation.
Claudia makes all her creations and teaches lessons from her teeny home studio in Colorado Springs, CO.
